Electrification

Tritech Rail provides Overhead Line Electrification (OHLE) services to all types of railway projects from feasibility through to detail design.

We have the capability to carry out dimensional and conditional surveys, designs for feasibility studies, up grade design reviews and allocation to meet the requirements of line speed enhancement works, Design validation survey reviews, checking the compatibility of the OLE to the required standards. Our services include: -

OLE-Survey

• Using up to date laser technology non- contact Height and Stagger gauges to measure heights, staggers, cant, REFOS, mast bracket heights, Bridge and Portal soffit heights.
  (This work being undertaken without the need for Isolations.)
• Electrical and mechanical clearance checks.
• Condition surveys can also be undertaken. These can be at ground level by observation and inclusive of photographs or detailed close up under isolation.
• Signal sighting committee assistance with regards on sight solutions when relocating signals.

OLE-Design
Using desktop study techniques and our CAD drafting capability we can provide the resource to produce: -

• Feasibility design layouts,
• New Build designs
• Up grade designs
• As Built Records

The design packages can be presented in the format of spreadsheets, layouts, cross sections; bridge plans, bonding diagrams, section diagrams and isolation documentation.

The provision of a service for up dating of existing design documentation in line with P-way remodelling, Signal up grades, Line speed enhancement, gauging works for route clearance, and presentation for client for acceptance.
