Tritech Rail Limited was formed in 1999, as a Permanent Way Engineering Consultancy offering an experienced surveying and design consultancy to Network Rail and all contractors working on the rail network, who interface with the Permanent Way.

Within the last five years Tritech have been involved with some of the most high profile work undertaken on the rail network. Those projects range from detailed survey and design of track on WCML for the introduction of Class 390 tilting trains to design and technical assistance for the introduction of new slab track technology at Hibel Road Tunnel, Macclesfield.

As the demands of railway engineering have increased, Tritech Rail have evolved, not only to meet these changes but also to assist in their overall development and implementation. This is best highlighted by our involvement in the assessment of the introduction of new on-track machinery to the U.K, such as Em Sat and also our input into the development of the new Railway Group Standard for Surveying. This demonstrates not only our expertise in all matters related to Permanent Way, but also our commitment to help shape the future rail network of the United Kingdom.

As a company, we employ in excess of 100 highly trained and highly motivated personnel, and have grown from being a ‘Permanent Way Engineering Consultancy’, into a multi skilled civil engineering consultancy.
